This is a great introductory woodworking class for the beginner or someone with some experience. The 42”wide x 16”deep x 42”high bookcase will be made from a combination of solid wood and plywood. In the class students will learn how to layout parts on plywood and solid lumber, cut and mill them as necessary to make finished dimension stock and finally assemble them to make the completed bookcase. Students will learn to use the table saw, miter saw, biscuit jointer, track saw and sanders. Hand tools will also be covered as needed during the construction of the bookcase. A $500 material fee is required for this class.
